Unfortunately I have no 3D printer :( Nevertheless the PCB looks quite nice with its components.

btw: Is it possible to resize images using BBcode?
Nice case, maybe the files to print it are available.
About your question BBCode... I am new here, the forum is being ported to a new version so maybe it will be possible soon.
By now many of us cannot upload photos nor files, pdf neither we can.

Hi @slabbi You know the current consumption of the tester?
Aproximately.
Thank you.

geloalex escribió: 10 Sep 2020, 09:36 Hi @slabbi You know the current consumption of the tester?
Aproximately.
Thank you.
It is <170mA in the menu and plus the current for the chip you are testing.

Worst case (acc. datasheet):
There are a few older chips that consume up to 1W(!) peak, that means 200mA, the younger chips approx. 400mW (e.g. DRAM 4464) i.e. 80mA.
SIMM/SIPP are worst, 60-70mA/chip, i.a. 600-700mA/module (max. consumption).

Real case:
In average it is not that bad because the chips are not operated at full speed so the current consumption for the complete tester is usually <<500mA.

I made some tests (tester + chip, testing):
4464 = 0,24A
3101 = 0,25A
SIMM 1 MByte = 0,23A

Oh good , because I'm thinking it works with a 7.4v lipo smaller than a tablet and built in a plastic case of a Sennheiser mic.

Is anyone interested in a video meeting?
I would be willing to set up one to answer questions about the chip tester.
The language would of course be English.
A suitable date could be a problem, but a date will be found.

Hi,
It sounds very good,
But i would like to have started the building, and write some questions before the meeting.
And we could also have a wissebier in this meeting.
