I have found a SPORT DAMJES dart game but it does not work.
I am looking for any advise, documentation, drawing...anything !

Any help will be welcome.

I noticed that the CPU (Z80) become very very hot. MAy be some issues with it?

Maybe the first you could try is to change (if you have any other) the Z80. If it´s very hot maybe is not working..

lo primero que deberia hacr es mirar la fuente de alimentacion, que saque los voltajes correctamente. una vez hecho deberia hacer un dumpeo de la rom de programa.

Not sure where could be the issue, but...
1. This battery on the main board should be replaced ASAP.
2. Capacitors... have been they replaced? Seems that yes, and few (cannot tell it accurately) of them have not isolated their leads. What could result in shorts. so:
2.1 replace capacitors if they are not yet.
2.2 Isolate their leads because maybe that is causing a short.

Could you take some pictures of from the board front and back with higher resolution?

How have said some before... check the power in voltages. before and after the regulator.

I think I will actually give a good upgrade to that old game.
I am planning to install an LCD screen in the middle to display scores, different animations, etc...
On the top where the LCD displays were installed I will put 2 color DMD (led panels).
Also I´ll install some led strips on each side for the fun.
Later on and if I find the time I can upgrade the target so it displays color when hit.

I know it is a shame to get ride of all the good old electronic boards but my favorite dart game is Cricket and that board can not handle it.
Another good reason to go ahead with the upgrade.

I´ll send some pictures once it is done !
